I loved the idea for this book. That monsters were real, and had to change the way humans thought about them before they were found. How humans were taking over the few unexplored places left for the monsters to hide in. And making a movie and TV show to change perceptions. “What else would you call the followers of an idiot playacting as a messiah preaching revolt against you?”   I really loved this take on fallen angels. That they became vampires when they fell, and how their world works. Even though we didn’t get to see much of that because of how short this book was. It was really unique. I also loved Raze. His character was believable with obvious faults, strengths and weaknesses. As was Kim. There is sex in this book, two different scenes. But both are fairly tastefully done.
