I didn’t realize how old this book was until I started to write the review… But it’s still worth reading! It’s told from the point of view of a cheetah. First Kichebo’s mother, then her aunt, Kichebo herself and a cheetah from the past named Asu-Kheknemt. You get to learn a lot about cheetahs, as well as ancient Egypt. Some of it has been tweaked to fit the events in the book, but a great deal of it is factual. I’ve always loved Egyptian stuff, and cheetahs, so this book was a huge win for me.
