The Quill Pen by Michelle Isenhoff (review)

    This book wasn’t quite what I was expecting. And that’s a good thing. It has shipwrecks, and curses and magic. History and fantasy. Outcasts, bullies, villains and a thirteen-year-old boy who is just starting to come into his own. The father reminds me a bit of the father in Mary Poppins, only colder. The villain was completely unexpected, at least to me. I liked Micah, and Gabby, but for some reason the character I liked the best was Mrs. Parson.
