Rogue Powers by Phil Stern (review)

I really liked this book. The story drew me in, and I finished it without stopping to do anything else. I liked the glimpses we got of Anson’s life. From snippets of his childhood and learning to use his powers, to being in the royal army. I liked Lydia as well. And the characters you aren’t supposed to like, pulled that off believably. I liked the various magic powers introduced, and how they came into the general populace. I was not expecting the ending at all, which is always something that makes me happy!
