I didn’t like this one as much as the first book. I still liked it, but there were a number of cringe-worthy moments that made me want to skim past them. Like the first book, the 4 siblings stumble upon something magical. And they go on various adventures to help the phoenix hatch her egg. Be a Genie in Six Easy Steps (Genie #1) by Linda Chapman (review)

This was really cute. The step-sibs got along a lot better than I was expecting them to. And there were a few unbelievable moments, but all in all, I enjoyed it. I was expecting the bad guy to be worse than what turned out to be the case. Though it totally worked with the reveal at the end, and with the age group the book is aimed at.
