I loved the first book, but I adored this one! All the things I loved about the first book were present in this one, only more so. There were wonderful illustrations, really likeable characters, and a fantastic world. I loved Evie, everything about her. She fit perfectly with Jocelyn and Roger. I also really liked the way Tiger Lily was portrayed. We got to see a lot more of Meriweather in this book just like I’d hoped. And we finally met more of Hook’s old crew in Starkey. This was such a fun read! I loved it from the first pages, it just sucked me in. The illustrations were really nice too. And the descriptions were perfect, without being too detailed. The one of that pink room in the finishing school made me shudder and wish Jocelyn had burned it down. (Ewww…. pink…) I liked Roger, and Smee was wonderfully in character. It was amusing that Peter made two random Lost Boys be Twins because they ‘needed’ Twins. Even if the boys looked nothing at all alike.
