So Adrian and Lindsey are the main characters, but I think I actually ended up liking Elijah best. Elijah is a Lycan, one of a number of fallen angels who were infused with demon blood to make them mortal and able to breed. They are basically the slaves of the angels, and work with them as security, scouts, body guards, military, ect. in their job of hunting down the vampires (also fallen angels) who are not peacefully taking their punishments from God. A Dark Kiss of Rapture (Renegade Angels Novel #0.5) by Sylvia Day (review)

“What else would you call the followers of an idiot playacting as a messiah preaching revolt against you?”   I really loved this take on fallen angels. That they became vampires when they fell, and how their world works. Even though we didn’t get to see much of that because of how short this book was. It was really unique. I also loved Raze. His character was believable with obvious faults, strengths and weaknesses. As was Kim. There is sex in this book, two different scenes. But both are fairly tastefully done.
