September Wrap Up

This month as I’m sure you noticed, I finally got my new header! It was done by the wonderful Becca Gowdy.

She designed it with only a little input from me, and it turned out perfect! This month also was my 1-year Blogiversary and I did a giveaway to win some books! Congrats to Jen, Emma, Michele and Amy for winning!

I said last month was the month of too many books. And then I received a pile for review this month that shocked me. So this month I am not saying a word about it. *laughs*

I’ve finally caught up on all my commissioned crochet work, and just have to find time to make more to sell. I was a bad thing and bought more yarn the other day. (I don’t actually have any space left to store it! Oops!)

No book covers this month, for some strange reason WordPress wouldn’t cooperate and I couldn’t get the covers to show at the same time as the list of books. *confused*

I think Heir of Fire and Scarlet are tied for favorites this month. Though there were a number of good books, it’s always so hard to choose!

Didn’t realize I’d only done 2 FCF’s this month. Bad me! Ah well, that’s been my September. How was yours?

Thank you! I took one look at the sketch (in a row of other possibilities) and was like, “Mine!” It turned out better than I could have imagined, and fits me perfectly.

I know! I about fell over when I opened this massive mailing envelope and saw there were 13 books most of which come out on October 6th. I figured when I got on a publishers mailing list, I’d get 2-3, maybe 4 at the most at a time. But I did not expect 13, nor did I expect 17 total in the month from one publisher! I wouldn’t have gotten so much read except for the fact it is now the slow season at my work, and I’m allowed to read while waiting on the phone to ring.
